I have a broad skill set with expertise in IT project management, team management, customer service environments, infrastructure ownership, business contingency / disaster recovery, post acquisitions company integration, business solutions development, and advanced system problem resolution. I have exceptional business and technical problem solving skills, coupled with the ability to lead a companies’ IT strategy and cultivate its employees.

- 26 years hands-on project management expertise (PMBOK, Ladder, Agile/Scrum)
- 20 years customer facing technical team management expertise
- 17 years Business Continuity Planning / Disaster Recovery (BCP/ DR) project expertise including leadership role with planning, methodology coordination, implementation, and testing
- 28 years technical infrastructure expertise with PC hardware / software, LAN / WAN technologies, Windows server and workstation platforms, Active Directory, software distribution, and enterprise ownership
- 14 years experience managing enterprise electronic mail systems on various platforms including hands on responsibilities for architecture, design, implementation, documentation, support and training

My Name is Jeff Mitchell, and I started Mitchell Consulting Inc and Mitchell Solutions and Services, LLC in 2009. The economy at that time was difficult for many organizations and they were forced to freeze their budgets and employee headcounts. The problem was that there was still work to be completed - but without the budget or needed resources to undertake these projects - many companies quickly had to simply do "without". After a while, environments get old, things break, and some projects are forced into Priority One status, etc.... but with no new talent or the ability to hire, what do you do? Many companies were looking for contract staff to overcome this problem.

I have been in the IT industry for over 30 years - working with Fortune 100/500 companies, startup organizations, aggressive growth companies and consultant groups of a variety of sizes.
